The Milk Suit!
I have been designing baby clothing for close to 10 years now, both for Milk Addict and for my previous brand Anarkid. The all-in-one romper is the staple piece in every babies wardrobe. They are perfect for sleep and perfect for everyday wear. But how many times have you bought your bub a romper and something hasn't been quite right? The fabric has been scratchy, or the zip rubs on your babies sensitive skin. The fit hasn't been perfect, or you wash it once and it falls out of shape.
I took all of these things into account when I designed our new Milk Suit. Starting with the fabric, it had to be made from organic cotton. Organic cotton is not only better on your babies skin, but the process of farming and production means that everyone along the manufacturing chain is paid fairly, and works under safe working conditions. There are no pesticides used, so your little ones are protected as well as protecting and not polluting the waterways in the farming process.
I chose a beautifully double rib so that the fabric naturally stretches and envelopes all shapes and sizes, with a 3/4 zip for easy nappy changes and quick outfit swaps. I decided to keep feet on the smaller sizes, when baby is immobile and cuffs on the larger sizes. We have created double length cuffs to grow with your child and give you an extra month or so of wear. And finally we have added fold-over mittens on the hands for cool nights, or for little ones that scratch their faces at night.

How do you find the fit?
I sized up because I wanted it to last a while on Audrey, The sizing is perfect! A little long on the legs for now, but thats to be expected when sizing up.
Do you prefer zips or snaps? Why?
Zips, definitely! Trying to snap 50 clips together with a whingy baby, a tired baby, and a tired mama, is no fun! Zips are far more practical, and I find with zips there's no weird gaps when baby sits up and moves around.
Are you happy with the price?
The price is definitely reasonable for the quality you're providing.
Please tell us in your words your experience of the Milk-suit?
When it comes to baby wear, I look for timeless pieces that are great quality, stylish, and most importantly, comfortable for my bub. The milk suit is all of that and more! The material is super stretchy- the good kind, (not the kind that will completely change shape after the first wash, making you wonder if you'd lost that piece somewhere because it's simply unrecognisable anymore).. I digress.. The suit is so soft, even after washing, no crunchy material here. I love that I have the peace of mind knowing that Audrey is wearing cotton that is global organic textile standard certified, so it is gentle on her sensitive skin.
My only suggestion is that a double zipper makes those late night, or cold weather nappy changes so much easier! All in all, the sizing is perfect, the colour is beautiful, and Audrey looks cute as a button in it!
